Please print the terms and conditions of this program for your records.
The Water Heater Repair & Replacement Program (“Program”), offered by Dominion Products and Services, Inc., (“Dominion”), covers the repair or replacement of standard electric or gas water heaters due to normal wear and tear. Coverage is available for single-family residential dwellings, condominiums or mobile homes (“Home”).
- To be eligible for coverage, the subject water heater must be in good working order and free of leaks at time of enrollment in the Program.
- Coverage under the Program starts after the first payment is received, and continues thereafter so long as the customer makes timely payments. Customer payments prepay coverage under the Program. The listed monthly Program charge is for one water heater. Additional water heaters may be covered under the Program for an additional per water heater fee equal to the monthly program price. Coverage is suspended at the end of the prepaid period in cases of nonpayment. Your account must be in good standing (current) to receive repair and replacement service under the Program.
- The program covers only the repair or replacement of standard water heaters and does not cover water loss or water damage due to leaking or bursting tanks or the correction of plumbing and/or electrical installations not meeting applicable building codes. Coverage for the Program is limited to the following standard, 30-66 gallon electric or 40-66 gallon gas Home water heaters (“Standard Units”) including power vent/direct vent water heaters. - Coverage under the Program will remain in force until terminated by either Dominion, or the customer. You may cancel your partici-pation at any time.

- Dominion reserves the right to contract work to designated contractors. Coverage is limited to $750 per year. Any amount estimated to exceed the $750 maximum must be paid by you directly to Dominion’s approved contractor. Customer must desig-nate covered water heater(s) when multiple water heaters are present. If the customer does not designate the covered water heater, the default water heater shall be deemed to be the water heater serving the main/first floor of the dwelling.
- By signing the enclosed reply form, the customer:
- represents that to the best of his/her knowledge, the water heater system is free from any pre-existing problems or malfunctions.
- authorizes the utility to provide Dominion with any information about this account.
- Dominion reserves the right to determine whether repair or replacement is warranted, and also reserves the right to determine coverage eligibility and/or inspect the water heater to determine coverage eligibility within sixty (60) days of enrollment.
- Approved contractors must have safe access to, and safe working conditions at and around work area. Dominion disclaims responsibility for payment for work done by anyone other than a Dominion approved Water Heater Repair & Replacement Program contractor. In order for you to be eligible to receive coverage for a claim under the Program, you are required to notify Dominion of the claim condition before any remedial work is attempted on your water heater, either by you or any third party.
- Customer charges for the Program will appear on your monthly utility bill. If utility billing is not possible, payments can be pre-paid.
